Note: This is the third variation on a theme. In this variation, the tonality has changed from major to minor, and the melody is nowhere to be found! The original harmony inspires the second section of this variation. We have entries for the Theme as well as Variation 1 that focus on the melody.

Harmonic Rhythm: The harmonies move in a consistent rhythm, changing on the 3rd beat with a quarter note, and again on the down beat with a half note. (Note: The piece begins on a quarter note pickup!) Follow along with the sheet music as you listen!
