     -A Section: The bass line provides a common tone of Eb (the tonic), with one final V-I (Bb to Eb). 
     -In the fifth measure, the other instruments spell out a neighboring ii chord (F Ab C), which makes the bass note of Eb the 7th of that chord. Since the seventh is in the bass, the chord is in third inversion, making the harmony a ii42 (Eb F Ab C).
