Ensemble: 2 Flutes and String Orchestra

Suggested Activity: Throughout the piece, the instruments relate to each other differently by playing in Unison, in Harmony (parallel motion), and in echoing Imitative Patterns. 

• Split the room into three groups
• Assign one of the three categories above to each group
• Having each group listen for their specific type of playing, and raise a manipulative (ex. Index cards) when they hear what they’ve been assigned. Notable examples are below!
