Ostinato / Live Instruments with Electronics: Pamela Z creates an ostinato at the beginning of this piece, by looping her voice with a computer program! Listen for both the physical voice and the digital one, as the piece develops.

Program Note: "'Carbon Song Cycle' is a work for chamber ensemble by composer Pamela Z and video artist Christina McPhee. The piece is in 10 movements, scored for voice with live processing, bassoon, viola, cello, and percussion.
