About this Piece
(Starts at 4:25)
Interval: Throughout this piece, the performer fades in and out on a series of changing intervals. Almost every interval within the octave is heard, with the exception of the Major 3rd / Minor 6th.
Suggested Ear Training Activity: In the Notable Passages below, read the description of which intervals are heard. Then, try your best to identify them while you listen! (Many of these passages feature the intervals twice, so you will get two chances to listen for the intervals in those examples!)
Extended Technique: Scroll through the Notable Passages below to find examples of a Multiphonic, a Timbral Trill, and Key Clicks!
